What you have to say about the library books you've been reading.

Too many pills : how too much medicine is endangering our health and what we can do about it / James Le Fanu

Drawing on 50 years of experience in medical practice, Le Fanu reveals the truth about medicine's metamorphosis from modest beginnings in alleviating pain to the massive global phenomenon it is today, sounds the alarm about the dangers of over-medication and shows us how the future of medicine can be if we'd just stop taking the pills.

10 out of 10 Stars - Brilliant book and really rather scary. You'll never look at your doctor the same again. Should be standard reading for everyone. Usual villains: money, profit and politicians.

Prada princesses / Jasmine Oliver

The end of year show looms at the fashion college. Marina is furious about the amount of time allocated to her designs for the show, & lets her prima donna streak run wild. Meanwhile, her mother is worried because Marina's father, abroad on business has fallen out of contact. Should Marina drop everything to be with her mum?

9 out of 10 Stars - I rate this a nine because (I would rate it a ten) but it was just a story of teenagers and their work which is my style the girl was depressed and insecure. So I really enjoyed the book but I think it needed more punch it was played too safe. What I mean by that us that it had written very babyish they didn't take any bendy routes just straight ones and to be a good author you need to make it exciting. It was mainly love life, I don't hate romance but it isn't really one of my best books to read I just find them boring and weird. Im only 13 so you can't blame me. So I rate it a nine because I just liked hearing their problems and the girls dad divorcing her mum I would get so excited whenever it went to her life but I just read the rest in case I missed something. But I'm happy I did because I got the full picture of the book not just half.

One of us is lying / Karen M McManus

'One of Us is Lying' is the story of what happens when five strangers walk into detention and only four walk out alive. Everyone is a suspect, and everyone has something to hide. Pay close attention and you might solve this.

7 out of 10 Stars - I give this book a seven because it had a lot of suspense wanted you to keep reading it, but you could guess the end. The boy commit suicide. And blamed the criminal. But they were supposed to blame 'the princess' because she cheated on her boyfriend. And that was the boy who commit suicide ex-bestie, But Jake ('the princess' ,Addy, boyfriend) decided to help Simon (the boy who commit suicide) so he could get Addy back then in the blame on her and then she'll go to jail. But Janae, Simons best friend, couldn't do that because Addy was the only that asked her if she was okay from her weight-loss feeling guilty about Simon's suicide, so instead she pinned it on 'the criminal' , Nate, and he went to jail but was allowed out in the end broke up with his primary crush, Brownyn 'the geek' , because he was embarrassed he wanted her back never did get her she dated Evan some friend of Cooper's 'the jock' who was the nicest character in the book, Jakes best friend as well. He had a girlfriend Keely the prettiest girl in school, but dumped her for Kris. That's the only part of the book I don't like I find it really awkward and gross. But other than all four love lives it had some great story to keep your eyes glued to the book.

Don't blame the music / Caroline B. Cooney

Susan's senior year at school looks set to be the best ever. Then disaster strikes. Her older sister returns home after 3 years of silence - and starts tearing the family apart.

10 out of 10 Stars - This book never put me to sleep it was so interesting usually books you would think have a happy ending so you don't mind what happens, but this one doesn't end the happiest it can get. And that's what I like about it.

I'm not your other half / Caroline B Cooney

When Fraser and Annie find boyfriends at the same time, Annie is convinced they will be like a foursome in a novel. But Fraser is disturbed by the effect Michael has on her life, and feels her independence is being compromised.

5 out of 10 Stars - It was interesting just a teenagers love life really so it wasn't really my taste. I like and enjoy depressing books. With humour. This one had funny humour though. Thats what I liked. Other than that it wasn't my taste.

Only the good spy young / Ally Carter

Cammie may be an elite spy in training, but she's just beginning her most dangerous mission - falling in love.

10 out of 10 Stars - LOVED IT! I guarantee you will not be let down its the life of a spy but yes that sounds boring but she is being chased. It has sooooo much suspense. ;

Silhouetted by the blue / Traci L Jones

Seventh-grader Serena Shaw is trying to keep up at school while rehearsing for the lead role in the spring musical and dealing with a father so "blue" he is nearly catatonic. With the aid of a not-so-secret admirer as well as a growing sense of self-confidence, she faces the challenges of caring for herself and her ball-of-charm younger brother, all while attempting to lead the life of a normal pre-teen. Readers will be drawn into this convincing portrait of a vivacious young person who is on a path to discovering that taking on responsibility sometimes means finding the best way to ask for help.

10 out of 10 Stars - Really enjoyed it. It was depressing which is kind of the stories I like. It was a 12 year old who had to take care of her little brother, Henry, who was only seven because her mother died in a car crash and the dad had extreme depression. But the little boy was my favourite because he was so innocent expecting his mother to come back, 'When's Mommy coming back from her trip to heaven its taking her awfully long.' Her wish finally came true to her joining the play 'The Wiz' but her father doesn't do anything her best friends Kat and Nikka are getting annoyed because she's not having around with them but agree to pick him up one day after school and bring him to rehearsal, but her not so secret admirer, who's also a Spanish genius but is in class B instead of A and always helps her with her homework not only does Elijah help her with homework but agrees to pick Henry up from school. So her favours end up piling up. Henry just helps with scenery for his talent of Art following his father. When Serena goes home she sees the house is for the first time cleaned and vacuumed. She opens a letter from her father saying, 'My dearest children, I love you and I am sorry.' She runs around the house looking for her dad finding him in the middle of suicide stops him and screams at him how much she hates him. Shocked by his suicidal attempt. Her Uncle Peter comes home and sends him to the hospital and keeps the family in ship-shape. She then does her play and starts her love life with Elijah.

Young blood / Meg Cabot

Suze should be spending the summer vacation at the beach. Instead she's been forced to get a babysitting job at a swanky resort. She'd expected to look after some boring brat, so Suze is surprised to find that her charge is actually a budding mediator - with a totally hot older brother.

10 out of 10 Stars - Great books love this series!

Love, lies and Lizzie / Rosie Rushton

When Mrs Bennet inherits enough money to move into the kind of village she has always dreamed of, her daughters find themselves swept up in a glamorous life of partying and country pursuits. But Lizzie and her sisters soon discover that, beneath the very smart surface, lurks a web of intrigue and rivalries.

10 out of 10 Stars - Sooooo much! Its amazing loved it. Its about a girl named Lizzie with four sister, Jane (closest with her and is in uni), Lydia (who goes with any boy she's fifteen), Katie (Lydia's twin, shy tries to follow Lydia around and be friends with her and her popular gang, but Lydia's embarrassed of her and always ditches her) ,Meredith (who's really responsible and's the eldest), and she's seventeen at the beginning at the end she turns eighteen.
