Contacting us in an emergency
If you live in Birmingham and need to contact social services outside of normal working hours, please call our emergency helpline:
Call 0121 675 4806
The emergency helpline is for anyone who’s in danger and unable to protect themselves, or for those who can’t remain in the community without immediate support (intervention). This includes vulnerable adults who:
- need protection
- have gone missing or returned
- need an emergency placement.
Each call to the helpline is dealt with by an experienced and qualified social worker who’s able to gain access to residential, day and home-based (peripatetic) support, if necessary.
