Witton Shopfronts Improvement Scheme

We are pleased to introduce a new programme to provide grants to improve property frontages along Witton Road, Aston. The aim of the scheme is to improve the visual appearance and character of the Witton Road Local Centre and to help attract more shoppers in the area.

This plan shows the properties within the improvement scheme area.

You might be eligible for up to a 75% grant if you are looking to

  • install new shutters
  • install new signs
  • install new windows and doors
  • render or repoint the walls
  • provide ramps or handrails to your property.

The first round for submitting applications had closed.

However we have now reopened it for a short while.

The Witton Shopfronts Improvement Scheme is funded by money secured through the planning application and Section 106 agreement for the new Tesco store on Aston Lane.
