The Walk 2000 promotes walking for health in Birmingham.

The 3 main aims of the project are:

  1. to waymark 2km walking routes in parks and open spaces;

  2. to provide walking groups led by qualified Walk Leaders;

  3. to train people to become Walk Leaders on a nationally accredited course.

    Coming soon are a set of 7 maps of 5km walking routes across the city. More details will appear here shortly.
