Urban Choice

Birmingham's pilot choice based letting scheme, which operated in the north west of the city, is now closed.

Birmingham Home Choice is the new way for customers to find and rent a home from Birmingham City Council, Midland Heart, Family Housing Association and some other housing associations in the city.

For Midland Heart and Family Housing Association customers the Birmingham Home Choice scheme started on 25 February 2010.

Birmingham City Council is phasing in Birmingham Home Choice, it started with customers registered for one bedroom accommodation on 25 February 2010. Birmingham Home Choice will be available to customers needing larger accommodation later in the year. We will write to those customers nearer to the time.
