Kids Swim for Free
The Kids Swim4Free scheme gives children the opportunity to swim free of charge all year round. The scheme is open to children aged over four and under 17. It's a great chance for children to get active, stay fit, meet with friends and, most importantly, have fun!
Since its launch in 2004, more than 80,000 Birmingham children have signed up to the Kids Swim4Free initiative which is part of the city drive to encourage more children to take part in regular physical activity.

There are no tests to join the scheme. To sign up, simply visit your local pool and complete an application form to get a Swim4Free Leisure Card. Your child will then be able to start swimming for free straight away. Don't forget the card is valid until their seventeenth birthday.
There are 17 Birmingham City Council pools to choose from, so wherever you live there's a pool not too far away.
