The team behind Stories from the Web™ have launched an exciting new creative reading and writing website for Primary School children: www.storiesfromthewebschools.org. For the first time schools will have access to this major online resource to support children’s development as readers and writers.
Stories from the Web™ the online reader development website for children and young people provides a range of creative reading and writing activities which engage participants with books, authors, illustrators and each other in a safe online environment. Previously only offered on a subscription basis to public libraries in the UK and Republic of Ireland this resource is now available for the first time as a subscription service to Schools.
Stories from the Web offer:
• online print and audio book and poetry extracts
• a range of creative reading and writing activities
• downloadable activities for use in class and at home
• online storyteller videos
• up to date information on children’s books, authors and illustrators
• competitions with prizes including books and merchandising
• online portfolios for all the classes in your school
• a safe online environment

| 601-800 pupils | £500 per year |
| 801+ pupils | £500 for the first 800 pupils plus 50p per additional child |
