Birmingham Sports Development is committed to working together in partnership to help people in Birmingham get more from their involvement in sport. The Sports Development website aims to provide everything you need to know about what's going on in youth sport in Birmingham, from how to get involved in local sports programmes to becoming a volunteer.

The site is aimed at all those involved in sport development in Birmingham including:

  • All current and interested young sports participants
  • Parents
  • Coaches & Volunteers
  • Clubs
  • Schools & Teachers
  • People who work in sport or are looking to develop a career in sport.

Grants are available for activities which improve skills and increase participation in sport, particularly among young people.

Birmingham Sports Council works in liaison with Birmingham City Council and associated organisations to operate this scheme.
