Further Changes to Central Library

We’re getting ready to move to the new library in 2013 – it’s a huge and complex task. We’ve found a way to keep the Central Library OPEN while we do this, but there will be some changes. From Monday 12 December floors 4, 5 and 6 will be closed on Mondays, Tuesdays and Saturdays and the opening hours for the whole library will be changed to 10am - 6pm Monday to Friday and 9am -5pm on Saturdays. About the Science Library
The Science Library is a busy information service within Birmingham Central Library. We cover a wide variety of subjects to meet the needs of our users who range from students, researchers, businesses to the informed reader. Our resources include books, a large journal collection, CD ROMs and Internet access. There is a help point located on this floor.We have friendly, experienced staff who will help you find the information you are looking for.

The Birmingham Arthritis Resource Centre, a joint initiative with Birmingham University, is now located on Floor 1.
