Would you like the council to refurbish it for you inside and out?
Birmingham City Council's new Repair and Lease Scheme for empty homes will do just that.
In order to help us meet the ever-growing demand for family homes, we are now looking to lease empty homes across Birmingham in order to rent to people on our housing waiting list.
We will refurbish and maintain your home for the period of the lease, which could be up to ten years. During this period you wouldn't be responsible for paying any council tax for the property, you may even be paid a monthly sum, depending on the repayment plan for the refurbishment work.
