Planning Online Search Help
 

Quick Search - By Application Number

Enter the application number in full in the application number field and press GO.

*Please ensure you enter the number including any forward slashes ie. N/00002/01/FUL. You can enter it in either upper or lower case.

You will then be taken to the application details screen providing the following:

  • Application number
  • Date application received
  • Date application registered
  • Status of application
  • Location
  • Proposal - detailed description of the development
  • Applicant name and address
  • Agent name and address (If applicable)
  • Council decision (when made)
  • Decision date (when made)
If an appeal has been made against the application, the following information will also be available:
  • Appeal lodged date
  • Appeal decision (when made)
  • Appeal decision date (when made)
From here you will be able to view any related documents for applications or appeals accepted on or after 01 December 2005, view conditions and reasons on decided applications and submit comments on applications awaiting a decision. You can also monitor the progress of an application by the information provided in the status field.

Advanced Search

The advanced search will allow you to search for applications or appeals if you do not know the application number.

You can search using the following criteria:

Status of Application - Choose from awaiting decision, decided or all applications/appeals. Planning Online will always default to awaiting decision. Select the buttons next to the status to change this.

Type of Application - Choose from the items in the list. If you do not choose one Planning Online will search for all types of applications/appeals.

District - Choose a district - If you do not choose one Planning Online will search for all districts.

Ward - Choose a Ward - If you do not choose one Planning Online will search for all wards.

Location - Enter an address, the more information you provide the more refined your results will be.

Applicant - Enter the name of the applicant.

Agent - Enter the name of the agent.

Date - Depending on the status you have chosen you can search the dates on which applications were registered or decided or when appeals were lodged or decided.

Sort Order - Change to show the order of your search results choose from displaying the oldest or latest records first.
Results per page - Choose how many results per page you want Planning Online to display.

Press SEARCH when you have entered your criteria or the CLEAR button to remove any content you have selected.

Planning Online Application Status Glossary

Awaiting PP/Cons Exp
The planning application has been accepted and is currently awaiting comments from consultees and/or other interested parties.

Awaiting Info/Amend
The planning officer is awaiting additional information from the Applicant / Agent regarding the application.

Awaiting Withdrawal
The application is the process of being with withdrawn. The applicant / agent no longer wishes to have this planning application considered.

Awaiting Report
Comments from consultees and interested parties have been received. The planning officer is in the process of writing their report and submit a recommendation for the application.

Report Ready
The planning officer has completed their report and is waiting for a suitable committee date or authorisation from a senior officer.

Awaiting Ctte Date
The application is waiting to go on an agenda for Planning Committee.

On An Agenda
The planning officers report has been entered onto an agenda for Planning Committee. The Planning Committee will make the decision for this application.

Planning Committee agendas reports and minutes are available to view online

Defer Cttee Visit
The application was discussed by the Planning Committee. The Committee requested to visit the site before reaching a decision.

Defer for Ctte Info
The application was discussed by the Planning Committee. The Committee requested additional information before a decision can be made.

Defer for Sect 106
The application was discussed by the Planning Committee. A decision will not be made until a legal agreement between the Council and the developer has been completed.

Referred to DCLG
The application was discussed by the Planning Committee. It has been referred to the Department of Communities and Local Government (DCLG) to make a decision.

Appeal Non Determine
The applicant/agent has appealed against the Council because a decision has not been made within the necessary time.

Decision Made

A decision has been made on the application.
