The COG online platform is a tool created to engage with young people in Birmingham.

It offers support to young people to access vital services and provides a web based opportunities matching platform for those who are in education and looking for work experience, traineeships, apprenticeship opportunities in the private and public sector.

COG also:

  • creates new ways for you to build a CV, improve your skills and find alternative ways into a job
  • connects you to careers advice, business networks and specialist websites to help you make it easier to secure and keep a job
  • improves access to employment, education, training, apprenticeship or work experience
  • makes it easier for you to connect with employers and training providers around Birmingham so that you can take advantage of all the opportunities the city has to offer
