Birmingham City Council

Local Development Scheme

The Local Development Scheme (LDS) for Birmingham is a three-year project plan, which sets out time scales for the preparation of Local Development Documents (LDDs) that form the City Council's Local Development Framework (LDF), within the current planning system. The LDS also contains a schedule of the City Councils existing planning policy documents.

Revisions to the LDS were agreed by Cabinet on 2nd November 2009 and were agreed by the Government Office for the West Midlands on 10 November 2009. The revised LDS covers the period 2009-2012
