The Local Development Scheme (LDS) is a three-year project plan which sets out time scales for preparing planning policy documents that form our Local Development Framework.
It has recently been updated and covers the period 2011-2014. The document includes
- timescales for new strategic planning documents, such as the Core Strategy, Aston, Newtown and Lozells Area Action Plan and Bordesley Park Area Action Plan,
- timescales for various new Supplementary Planning Documents - also see our Draft Planning Policies Page, and
- a record of all our existing statutory planning policy documents
