Important Notice Hawthorn House Community Library will be temporarily closed from 8 February 2010 until 1 April 2010 due to staffing shortages.

The self-service Neighbourhood Library will remain open during this period from 9am - 5pm Monday to Friday providing access to books and computers.

We apologise for any inconvenience caused. Please remember that your library ticket is valid at all community libraries and Central Library in Birmingham.

Hawthorn House Neighbourhood Library

This new facility in the entrance foyer of Hawthorn House is also now open enabling all local residents to have access to books and computers when the main library is closed.

Directions:

Buses - The Number 16 stops on Hamstead Hill Road, just past the junction with Friary Road, about a 5 minute walk away. Bus numbers 654, 654A ( The Villager) stop on Hamstead Hall Road just outside Hawthorn House.
Parking  - There is a small car park on site.

Opening Hours: Monday 9am-1pm, Tuesday 2pm-6pm, Thursday 2pm-5pm, Friday 9am-1pm and 2- 5pm, Saturday 9am-1pm and 2- 5pm
Facilities: Dyslexia Information Point, Public Toilet, Sight Impaired Facilities, Wheelchair Access
