Birmingham City Council

Sustainability and Recycling Awards 2014

Are you doing your bit for the environment? If so, we want to hear about it!

Birmingham City Council in partnership with Veolia Environmental Services are inviting schools, colleges, universities, businesses, restaurants and food outlets as well as community groups and members of the public to share their activities so that they can formally recognise those who work tirelessly to protect the environment and contribute to the city's recycling and green agenda.

Whether you recycle or reuse everything, have reduced your electricity consumption, support local sustainable food growers or simply know how to cut your food waste, we want to hear from you.

Application forms and criteria can be downloaded below:

There are four main categories:

  • Best Waste and Recycling Scheme
