Go! - Your guide to leisure, sport and culture services

Go! Cover Go! is your essential guide to leisure, sport and cultural services brought to you by Birmingham City Council, with details of family-friendly events and activities taking place this spring and summer.

There's a lot to look forward to in the performing arts this season, especially with an appearance from the Kirov Ballet as part of a month long programme of dynamic dance events in May, and another great Artsfest taking place in September.

In celebration of the 2008 Olympics in Beijing Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery has some exquisite displays of Chinese ceramics to inspire you with and there will be events and workshops for everyone to take part in.

Meanwhile Birmingham's parks and open spaces are beckoning, not just for a gentle stroll or picnic, but with lots of events and activities on offer through the park ranger service. Get your copy of Out & About for more details.

Don’t forget too that Birmingham libraries and leisure centres have a range of events and activities to entertain people of all ages, so pop along to your local venues to find out what's going on, or you can check details on-line.

Have a very enjoyable spring and summer season!
