Supervisory Board of Local Authority Leaders

The Supervisory Board of Local Authority Leaders empowers GBSLEP and provides decision making and political accountability for the management of the Local Growth Fund and other funding.

The board ensures that key decisions for GBSLEP, in particular financial ones, will have a clear democratic mandate, and that Government will have the confidence to hand over responsibility for funding and powers.

Key decisions will also be made open to scrutiny via the Joint Scrutiny arrangements.
