Fit4Life is a health improvement initiative focusing on priority areas in Kings Norton, Longbridge, Northfield and Weoley wards to help more men over forty get fit for life by making some simple changes in their lives.

Fit4Life workers Mel, Gregg and Dean who are part of Northfield Constituency’s Sport and Leisure team support men aged 40 – 70 to make small changes in their lifestyle to improve their health. They carry out a range of work including health and fitness assessments, providing motivational support, helping people to set individual goals and sign posting to existing services available in the area. Their work focus’s on raising awareness around key public health messages on the benefits of healthy eating, physical activity, weight management and giving up smoking. They also link with the new screening service provided through the pharmacy CHD (Coronary Heart Disease) pilot operating in the area.

To contact Fit4Life please phone: 0121 675 0060 /0061.
