From an initiative of Birmingham City Council in 2000, the European Summer University has developed into a distinctive and sought after study programme. It is now one of a family of specialist training programmes offered by the renowned College for International Citizenship which is based in the City.

The ESU offers daily English language tuition at the British Council
accredited Brasshouse Centre. Afternoons are
dedicated to
specialist courses, (lectures, workshops and onsite visits), in key policy
areas such as Urban Regeneration and Environmental
Sustainability.
The ESU programme also includes a selection
of fun
social activities!
