Pest Control

Treatment/service	Cost
Rats and insects with public health significance {bed bugs, cockroaches} in occupied domestic premises and associated gardens	Free service
Mice	Free mouse poison is available from your local Customer Services Centre.
Wasps	Standard flat rate charge £45 (inc. VAT) for treatment. Where there are two or more nests requiring multiple treatment the charge is £55. Revisits are free within one month of treatment
Fleas domestic property [includes 3 treatments approximately one week apart]	£130.00
Ants domestic property [one visit, demonstration of treatment including provision of pot of ant powder]	£60.00
Pest proofing of domestic property	£55.00 per hour, plus materials, plus VAT.
Squirrels - domestic property	£45.00
Commercial work - rodent/insect control and clearance of premises.	£55.00 per hour, plus materials, plus VAT. Minimum charge for one hour and overtime rates will be charged for work undertaken outside normal working hours. Any material removed from premises will incur tipping/disposal charges at the prevailing rate (per tonne, plus VAT)

Charge

A fixed penalty notice or FPN may be issued for a variety of environmental offences including the offences of littering and dog fouling.
It should be noted that our policy is to prosecute in all cases of non payment of FPNs. Fines incurred by the courts will invariably be considerably higher than the FPN and in all cases brought to court we will also seek to recover our costs.
