Edgbaston Constituency is comprised of four wards: Bartley Green, Edgbaston, Harborne and Quinton. It is a unique constituency with a historic past, a diverse and challenging present, and a future full of promise and new opportunity. Everyone living and working in within Edgbaston’s four Wards is entitled to a high quality of life and effective services that meet their needs. The aim of Edgbaston Constituency is to contribute to the greater good and create a safe, pleasing, healthy and neighbourly environment for people of all ages, interests and backgrounds. If the work of the Council in Edgbaston is to be a success it is vital that the views and contributions of local people are taken into account alongside those of local Councillors and organisations working in the area.

How you can be involved

If you live or work in Edgbaston, we want you to be involved in running local services. You can raise issues that concern you and contribute to decision making in a number of ways. As well as your elected members, each Ward has a Ward Support Officer (WSO), who can be contacted on the phone number or email address below.

There are a number of services which the City Council's District Team directly manages in the area:

Sport & Leisure Facilities: Four Dwellings Community Leisure Centre , Shenley Court Community Leisure Centre, Bartley Green Community Leisure Centre, Harborne Pool and Fitness Centre

Community Libraries: Bartley Green, Harborne, Quinton

Neighbourhood Offices: Bartley Green, Edgbaston, Quinton

Community Centres: Welsh House Farm , Quinborne

Play Centres: Youth Centres and Projects, Benmore Play Project

Community Safety

School Crossing Patrols

Highways Engineers


Environmental Wardens
