National Indoor Arena (NIA)

The National Indoor Arena is the UK's premier sports arena. Costing £50 million, it can seat around 10,000 for events ranging from rock climbing and ice skating to the grandest of grand opera.

The NIA Academy regularly hosts rock and other concerts.

The NIA also houses a public leisure centre, Community Hall.

Robert Stephenson's original railway tunnel is safely preserved underneath The NIA and is used by trains between Birmingham and Wolverhampton.
