Classroom Pupil Support for National Curriculum Music - Key Stages 1 and 2

Whole class vocal work in Key Stages 1 and 2

Experienced and qualified primary school music specialists are able to lead classroom sessions within QCA guidelines. Knowledge of the National Curriculum allied with A Common Approach enables them to promote positive musical practice and progression of learning.

Classroom Pupil Support staff can:

  • Deliver the QCA curriculum with a vocal focus on developing musical skills among pupils
  • Work alongside teachers in the classroom and liaise with music co-coordinators in long and medium term planning
  • Offer a variety of opportunities for children to take part in music projects in the city.

Vocal teachers can:

  • Work alongside class teachers in their class developing vocal skills
  • Train choirs

Classroom Pupil Support is best and most effectively booked in half day sessions.
