A Local Transport Plan For Birmingham

What is the Local Transport Plan?

The Local Transport Plan (LTP) is the document which examines the transport needs of Birmingham and the West Midlands metropolitan area, and sets out a way to deliver solutions in the short, medium and long term.

LTP3, 2011-2026

The third West Midlands LTP, covering 2011-2026, has been prepared by the Integrated Transport Authority (Centro). The LTP will set out how our transport network can play its part in the transformation of the West Midlands economy. It will demonstrate how this will bring benefits to people through its contribution to economic revival, creation of jobs, improved accessibility, improved local and national connections by road and rail, and better quality of life.
