This is an exciting time for people living and working in Perry Barr. From April 2004, the city council devolved many decisions to a Constituency Committee which plays a pivotal role in overseeing the management of local services.

The localisation of services in Perry Barr provides an exciting opportunity for your councillors to become more involved in the planning and delivery of local services. Councillors are working closely with officers and local communities to strengthen each others' understanding of the needs and priorities of local people.

By improving services and making them more responsive to local needs, we will ensure better value for money and an improved quality of life for everyone.
