Rubery Cuttings Local Nature Reserve

Situated on the corner of Bristol Road South and Leach Green Lane, because of the site's nature, access is restricted to pre-arranged visits, through either the Local Nature Reserves officer or the Ranger Service at the Lickey Hill Country Park.

Summary Description:

This geological Local Nature Reserve where the Rubery sandstone series (Upper Llandovery, silurian) rests on Lickey Hills Quartzite (Cambrian). Some of the beds of the Rubery Sandstone are very fossiliferous (full of fossils).
