Wylde Green Community Hall
The hall in Wylde Green offers a convenient location for children's parties, table top sales, regular meetings and business seminars. The Community Hall is accessible via a short walk from a number of major bus routes found on the Birmingham Road and Chester Road Rail Station located on the busy 'Cross-City Line'.
Set to the rear of 'The Lanes' shopping centre, the newly refurbished hall offers a small car park and kitchen and can accommodate a maximum of 100 people and seats 80. Because of its close proximity to sheltered homes for the elderly however, the hall closes at 10.30pm from Monday to Saturday and at 6pm on Sundays.
Following an extensive refurbishment in 2006, the hall also now operates as a part time library.
There is a varied programme of activites taking place on a regular week-by-week basis including some Adult Education during term times. Among other groups and organisations, the hall is home to the Sutton Coldfield Civic Society who meet on the first Thursday of every month from September until May each year.
