Strikes in Schools

Strikes are actively involved in the running of the After School Programs across Birmingham, assisting with PPA (Planning, Preparation, Assessment) time and assisting with the extended school day.

Strikes utilises the Soccericulum to tie in with the National Education Curriculum.

Strikes also collaborate with the ‘Striking a Balance’ scheme to introduce healthy eating and increased physical activity into children’s lives. This is done through a mixture of football coaching and use of the ‘Striking a Balance’ booklet, which sets a 20 week course for children to record their eating and physical activity everyday as well as learn about the eating of professional athletes and fun football drills.
