Welcome from your Service Integration Head - Karen Cheney
District Service Integration Head - Karen Cheney
Many of the day-to-day services offered by the City Council are now run at a local level. Services such as neighbourhood offices, leisure centres, community centres, play centres, street cleaning and grass cutting can now all be influenced locally and we are keen to involve local people in setting the priorities for the area. More services such as youth services, adult education and housing management will be localised later on in 2012.
By delivering services at a District level, we can develop services to better meet the needs of local people. By working in partnership together we can access skills, knowledge, information and resources that would not be available to groups and individuals acting alone. We are aiming to deliver excellence with communities.
If you want to get involved in shaping the future of our services, contact us by one of the following methods and we will let you know how.
