The Application Process
Deadline for applications has now been extended until 29th August 2014 for September 2014 entrants. Applications will need to be submitted to firstname.lastname@example.org
All applicants will be notified of their application and will receive either an acknowledgement email or a provisional assessment notification.
Shortlisted applicants will be invited to attend an interview at a pre-arranged date. The interview will consist of panel questions and applicants may be requested to deliver a short presentation. The interview should last no longer than approximately 45 minutes.
Your completed application form will be checked to ensure you have supplied the correct information and supporting documentation. We will also contact your selected university to ensure you have secured a place. Our aim is to process correctly completed application forms within four weeks of receipt after which you should receive either an acknowledgement letter or a provisional assessment notification
After the initial assessment and to check you meet the eligibility criteria, short-listed candidates will be contacted and invited to a short interview where you may be asked to deliver a short presentation and will have the opportunity to explain how a bursary award would help you. Guidance and information regarding other funding bodies and agencies will be available to those applicants who are not successful. Interviews time and dates will be sent out to short-listed candidates, applicants will need to ensure they are available to attend during this day.
Yes, provided there is no duplication between the types of support granted.
Yes, full-time and part-time students are eligible to receive financial assistance under the programme.
