This was one of three development briefs prepared following the adoption of the Stirchley Framework in 1994. The Dogpool Mills site was identified predominantly for industrial use. This brief provided detailed planning guidance about how the area should be redeveloped and encouraged a comprehensive development of the area.

The development brief was adopted as Supplementary Planning Guidance in 1996 and was used when determining planning applications in the area. Having achieved most of its aims, the document has now been revoked.

A copy of the document is below which includes a map showing the area covered by the proposals.
