Bournville Tenants Conservation Area was originally designated in 1971 and was extended in 1975.
It covers part of the Bournville Village Estate built by George Cadbury in the late 19th / early 20th Century.
The main estate is contained within the Bournville Village Conservation Area, however this conservation area covers the housing developed by Bournville Tenants Limited in the Kingsley Road and Northfield Road area.
A map showing the boundary of the conservation area is below, along with the designation report.
A Character Appraisal for Bournville Village was prepared but was never adopted as Supplementary Planning Guidance. A electronic copy of this document is not currently available however if you require a copy please contact us
