This site is another area of space forming part of the key wildlife corridor and walkway along the River Cole.
There is a large area of wetland within the site which seems to be expanding at present. It is thought that this is due to the raising of the water table, which is occurring throughout the city.
The site is also notable for containing the only known patch of wild orchids growing within the constituency.
