I have been a councillor for Acocks Green since 2006. During the last four years I have enjoyed working with local residents and community groups to make improvements to the local area.

I keep residents in touch with regular newsletters which provide details of the action I’ve undertaken on your behalf within the local community.

I also ensure that I undertake regular surveys on services provided by the Council. These surveys allow residents to pass comments on the services provided and suggest any improvements to make them more efficient.

I welcome the opportunity to meet local residents on an individual or group basis to discuss issues relating to their street or community. I believe that working together is the best way to resolve local issues.

I am a governor at Cottesbrooke Infants and I also attend the Police tasking meetings which deal with community safety issues.
