All about me
I have been a Councillor for Selly Oak since 2004. During this time I have made myself available to local residents, taking up individual and community based issues, relating to services provided by the City Council and other public organisations.
I deliver regular newsletters to keep residents in touch with local news and actions that I have taken on behalf of local people.
I also believe that as your Councillor I should listen to your views on the services provided by the Council. I therefore carry our surveys to ascertain your views on local issues. I guarantee to take up all the issues that are raised and will attempt to get them resolved to your satisfaction.
I welcome the opportunity to attend residents meetings and work with community groups who are campaigning for improvements locally. Again I will attempt to resolve any issues which are raised at these meetings.
As your Councillor I am always available to provide help and assistance on individual and community issues. If there is an issue that you would like me to take up on your behalf please do not hesitate to get in touch with me. I will try my very best to help.
My main interest is cycling I regularly commute by bike in all-weathers, as well as cycling for fitness and fun. I chair the City Cycling Advisory Group, which brings together cyclists, councillors and cycling officials from the Council. I am also fully committed to making Selly Oak a cleaner, greener and safer place in which to live.
