Mr Majeika and the Dinner Lady
Author: Humphrey Carpenter

The part I like the best is: when the children find the toad in there plates.
Because: When they take off the lid they stare at the toad and the toad stares at them back. That why I like Mr Majeka's job.

Story Title: Mr Majeika and the Dinner Lady
Name of author: Humphrey Carpenter
Name of illustrator: Frank Rodger

The Story is about: A man called Mr Majeika who was the cook for the week and the first things he cooked was delicious fish fingers, beef burgers, baked beans, chips, ice-cream and all the other things that everyone really liked but Mr Majeika and Hamish tricked the children by cooking real toad and stones for toad in the hole.
My favourite character is: Mr Majeika and Hamish because when they tricked the children with real toads and real stones that was supposed to be toad in the hole. Jody didn't like it and it was a shame because I wouldn't like to have a real toad in the hole.
The part I liked best is when the children got real food like the fish fingers because if I got served toad in the hole for real I would be angry so the best part is when they got real food.

Mr Majeika
Name of Author: Humphrey Carpenter
Name of illustrator: Frank Rodgers

The story is about: A day when Mr Majeika didn't turn up in time to teach class three. He was suppose to be there at nine o'clock but instead he got there at ten o'clock. Hamish Bigmore loved being a nuisance.
My favourite character is: Mr Potter because: He's funny, clever, quick thinker. Always have a solution, He's sometimes strict, he's happy. He makes me laugh. He's always busy, he likes children, He's very kind and gentle.
The part I liked best is: When class three said they were very important people.
because: The children think that they should help other people because they sometimes get all of their spellings right and sometimes no one else did.

The story is about: Mr Majeika was the dinner man for a week, but Mr Majeika could only cook Wizards food. The reason is because the school needed to find a new school cook.
My favourite character is: Mr Majeika. Because he makes me laugh, and he is a nice gentleman.
The part I liked best is when Mr Majeika said I only know how to cook Wizards food because everyone knows how to cook English children's food, only if their from a different country.

Mr Majeika and the Dinner Lady
Author: Humphrey Carpenter

The story is about: A man called Mr Majeika who has told the head teacher Mr Potter that he will cook the school dinners for a week. But he doesn't know how to cook the food the children like, he only knows how to cook wizards food. And that meant he wasn't a proper cook. He surprised the children at the end of the week by cooking a real toad in the hole.
My favourite character is: Mr Majeika because: He only knows how to cook wizards food. And he wear strange glasses. And his nose is always red. And it makes me smile and wish I was Mr Majekca because he always tries his best to cook. And he always has got the same hair style. And has got rosy cheeks.
