Reader Development Office
The Reader Development Office provides a range of services to help Birmingham Libraries give added value to its users.
Key areas of activity include:- Promotion of events for readers
- Development of Young Readers Birmingham
- Development of city-wide stock promotion projects and city-wide participation in national reading initiatives
- Support to readers' groups in Central Library and Community Libraries
- Support to writers' groups (including exchange readings)
- Publishing of readers' information packs and writers' information packs
- Birmingham Poet Laureate and Young Poet Laureate
