Birmingham Mobile Library Service
Welcome to Birmingham Mobile Library Service
Service Updates September 2012 including new timetables from Monday 10 September 2012 and a 2013 calendar
We are a part of Birmingham Libraries and provide access to reading, information, learning and leisure from the comfort of a Mobile Library vehicle. There is no age limit – anyone can join. It is a timetabled service, serving communities in and around Birmingham.
Since June 2010, the Service uses a wireless connection to access the library catalogue and customer records. Using this*, we are also able to search for online/internet/council information while you wait. We can answer general enquiries; search the library catalogue and reserve items for you.
* Please note, there may not always be time to do this if the stop is very busy
To find out if we visit near to where you live or work in Birmingham, please go to our timetables page. N.B. Times and stops are subject to change. Please check the timetables for the latest information or call 0121 464 6171. You will need a library computer card to use the service.
