"Sharing book titles, thoughts and opinions has led to some really interesting and stimulating discussions. It has broadened my horizons and I have enjoyed books I might otherwise not have read. I have found the group so warm, friendly and supportive, and I really appreciate the help they give me. And to be greeted with tea, coffee and biscuits is a lovely start to the group !" Janet Dawson
"I enjoy meeting like-minded people who share an appreciation of the written/spoken word. I've gained a wider knowledge of many authors through listening to other group members recommendations, reading books I wouldn't normally choose." Dorothy Bradley
"My horizons are expanding! From mirth to murder, fantasy to philosophy, no subject is excluded from our range. Our opinions may vary, but the enjoyment is always mutual."Sheila Moore
"Our reading group at Kingstanding Library has a unique format. When it began the idea was to read whatever we wanted and take our most enjoyable book or titles to the monthly meeting to discuss and swap. The result is that we have discovered new authors recommended by each other. All credit to the librarians responsible for coming up with this original idea."
