Each notice must be given more than 16 days in advance of your ceremony.

How far in advance can I book my Civil Partnership?
You can give notice of civil partnership at a Register Office up to 12 months in advance.

You can book a ceremony at Birmingham Register Office up to 12 months in advance.

You can reserve a time and date for a ceremony at approved premises up to 3 years in advance.

Where can I have my civil partnership?
A civil partnership can only be registered in a Register Office, at approved premises or in a religious building that has been approved for civil partnership registrations to take place, after the correct legal preliminaries have been completed.

I do not live in Birmingham, can still I have my civil partnership at Birmingham Register office or approved premises in Birmingham?
Yes you can have your Civil Partnership at Birmingham Register Office or in approved premises. But you will still need to give your notices of civil partnership at the local Register Office to where you reside.
