These are some of the landmarks featured, from left to right. Some are still standing, but some are remembered only by the names of streets or buildings.

  • St. John's Chapel, Deritend (to the left of the bridge over the River Rea.
  • St. Martin's, the parish church.
  • King Edward's School, New Street.
  • St. Phillip's Church, now the Cathedral. Recently built, so appearing in pride of place on top of the hill.
