The Council's Constitution

The Council's Democratic Structure

Democratic Services provides a Committee Management service within the Leader and Cabinet model of local government adopted in 2001.

The Structure of the Council

The Council's directorates are Corporate Resources; Children, Young People & Families (CYPF); Adults and Communities; Homes and Neighbourhoods; Development; and Environment and Culture.

The CYPF Directorate covers all business areas relating to education and social care for children and young people.
