Erdington District Service Integration Head's Welcome
The City Council team and partners in other public services such as the Police and the Primary Care Trust are leading the way in making local services more responsive to what local people tell us they want and need. We've been getting out and about, meeting and talking to local people, to find out the important issues that affect their lives from Castle Vale in the East to Kingstanding in the North.
The most important issues for the future of Erdington are captured in the Erdington District Development Plan. This states the priorities for all of us with an interest in making Erdington a better place to live, work, learn and invest. The City Council, other public services and our voluntary and community partners will all use the plan to ensure our thinking and service delivery really is joined up and makes a difference in Erdington.
The content of the Erdington District Plan will encompass the views of local people from all four Wards that make up the District, and those local people with specific interests in areas such as health, community safety and children and young people.
The District Plan will provide a strategy for all those of us who are committed to a better Erdington to co-ordinate our activities and respond to the specific needs of our localities. We welcome and encourage the involvement of all who live, work, learn and invest in Erdington in the challenge of creating better communities. If you are not involved at the moment and want to be, just get in touch.
