A centre of excellence for people with dementia

The Kenrick Centre is the second of the Care Centres completed in Birmingham.

Sited on Grove Lane, at the edge of Grove Park, Harborne, the building is designed as a centre of excellence for people with dementia.

The name for the Kenrick Centre was selected from one of three put forward by the local constituency office. It was chosen as a tribute to the Kenrick family, who bequeathed the land the centre was built on. With a history of civic engagement and supporting institutions in Birmingham and the West Midlands, the Kenricks have done a lot to make positive changes to the landscape of our city.

Ultimately, the Kenrick Centre is continuing this tradition and helping to forge new and better ways of working for people with dementia. It will also provide a vibrant hub for the local community to engage with our services in a world class environment.
