We are concerned to learn that you have not received your issue of our council publication Forward.

Birmingham City Council uses Royal Mail because of their high delivery rate. However, because they deliver in excess of 100 million items every week, there are occasions where items go astray.

If you haven’t received your copy of Forward this quarter, you can pick one up at your local library or the New Library of Birmingham. Copies are also delivered to swimming pools and leisure centres.

To file a formal complaint with Royal Mail, ten addresses per postcode reporting non-delivery are required. We would need to know that ten or more neighbours in a street have not received their copy of Forward.

Our distribution company undertakes to report incidents of non-delivery (concerning ten issues or more per postcode) to Royal Mail. An answer is generally expected within five days.

 We will work hard to improve delivery rates in areas of the city reporting problems.
