Christmas in Erdington

Christmas in Erdington

A seasonal welcome to you from everyone at the Erdington Town Centre Partnership as the magic of Christmas draws near.

We hope that you will be able to join us from 10.00 am on Saturday 5 December when, supported by members of the Business Improvement District (BID) team, together with representatives from the resident community and local services, we will once more be presenting our 'Christmas in Erdington' event.

This year from 12 noon, there will be another visit from: Father Christmas and his reindeer outside the Co-operative Superstore (Studio Cru will be providing an on-site photography service to deliver instant photographs of that special moment); a guided tour of Santa’s Workshop and Grotto deep within the basement of ‘The Cube in the Square’ (Central Square); Brass band (Market area); Carol singers from our local schools & churches (Co-op & Central Square) and, of course, the usual Market stalls, Street musicians (towards Six Ways), Street entertainers (everywhere!), Face painters (Co-op & The Cube in the Square) and free balloons (close to Dixons), together with the Erdington Fire Station Road-show vehicle, Fire Appliance & seasonal safety awareness campaign (Market area).

Following a Community Carol Service at 4.30 pm in the High Street outside St Barnabas Church (supported by our visiting Brass Band), the festive lights will be switched on by Santa at 5.00 pm.

We look forward to you joining us again this year.

Merry Christmas Everybody.
