Holiday Opening Times

During half term and holidays, the centre is open Monday-Friday from 8:00am-5:30pm for play care. Open access is available from12 noon until 4:30pm. Closed Bank Holidays, Christmas Day and New Year's Day.


We cater for children aged 4-13 years mainly living in or attending schools in Sparkbrook, Moseley and Kings Heath wards and across Hall Green Constituency. Children must be aged 5 years and over from September to attend our open access play provision.

We offer: Open Access and Support access, Play Care Play service, Holiday Playscheme Provision.

We provide: A very wide range of physical, social and intellectual activities, experiences and resources that include- Children chosen and led play and activities- Arts and Crafts, Sport and Games, Trips and Special events, Visting Artists and Workshops

Access and specific needs- Please discuss your child's needs with the Centre Manager. The centre has wheelchair access. We are able to cater for some specific needs including challenging behaviour and learning difficulties. We have limited facilities for children with sensory, visual or hearing difficulties, there is no specialised equipment.

Room Hire-The play centre is available for hire for children's birthday parties, social events, meetings and community activities. Please contact the centre Manager for booking forms and arrangements.

Other activities:Playcare after school-Monday-Friday, 3pm-6pm for children aged 4-11 years. Please contact the Centre Manager for details.

Stay and Play-Monday-Friday,3pm-6pm for children aged 1-4yrs accompanied by parents/carers. Please contact the Centre Manager for details.

Yemeni Women and Children-Sundays 2pm-6pm. For children aged 8+ years . Free.

We believe that play is crucial to the well being and healthy development of every child, as well as being fun.

Our staff Team

We are registered with Ofsted and have friendly, experienced and professionally qualified play work staff with a wide range of skills and abilities. Qualified first aid is at hand and all our staff are CRB checked. Our staffing team is committed to seeking additional training and development and are pleased to be able to offer a professional service for local children and families. All children who attend our Playcentre for safety reasons will be required to have registration forms completed by Parent/Carers.
