Newspapers held at Mere Green Library
Financial Times, The Times, The Guardian, Daily Telegraph and The Birmingham Post (All newspapers are held for a period of one week.
The document reader is a free service which scans and reads aloud printed text for the blind and partially sighted. The machine can scan printed documents such as typed letters, bills and booklets which can then be read back to the user through headphones to ensure privacy. The machine also has a record facility in which documents can be saved onto floppy disc which are provided by the library. For more information contact the library.
