The Longbridge Area Action Plan sets out the land use framework and proposals for the regeneration of the former MG Rover plant site at Longbridge. The proposals include plans for

  • 10,000 jobs
  • Over 1,450 new homes
  • a new local centre providing a wide range of retail, leisure, commercial and community facilities.
  • a series of public transport and highway improvements.

The overall aim of the plan is to create a truly sustainable and well designed community.

St Modwen is the developer and joint landowner of Longbridge. Find out how things are progressing on site on St Modwen’s website

The plan also contains an area within Bromsgrove District Council’s area. Consultation on the proposals in the plan took place during 2006/7 and the responses shaped the final document, which was adopted by both Councils in 2009

A pdf copy of the document is below. Due to the size of the plans, they have been extracted separately.

Document Status: Statutory Development Plan Document - Adopted 29 April 2009
