A notice for the expedited review of the premises licence granted in respect of Priva, 23 Essex Street, Birmingham, B5 4TR was submitted to the Licensing Authority by West Midlands Police on the 6th October 2015 under section 53A of the Licensing Act 2003 as amended by the Violent Crime Reduction Act 2006.
Grounds for review relate to the following licensing objective(s):
The prevention of Crime & Disorder
Reasons: A senior member of West Midlands Police has given a certificate that it is their opinion that the premises are associated with serious crime & disorder.
The application for review of the above premises may be inspected at the Licensing Section, Crystal Court, Aston Cross Business Village, 50 Rocky Lane, Aston, B6 5RQ. The Licensing Public Register can be viewed at www.birmingham.gov.uk/licensing
Any representations by other persons and responsible authorities regarding the review must be made in writing between the following dates:
8th October 2015 to 21st October 2015
It is an offence, liable on summary conviction to a fine up to Level 5 (£5000) on the standard scale to knowingly or recklessly make a false statement in connection with the application.
